What steps are taken to check the qualifications of Everguard staff?
As part of our thorough hiring process after the interview we collect a reference from the candidate’s previous employer. We also require detailed proof of identity address and permission to work in the UK. We also verify with the SIA that the applicant is properly licensed and trained to operate. Additionally, if needed staff will undergo a new DBS check to provide extra reassurance for our clients.
What is your pricing method for your services?
We must consider several factors when estimating the price for a contract. Each client’s needs are unique so we customize our services to fit them. “We would like to carry out a complete site survey to fully understand your needs. Before providing you with a price, commercial customers receive their invoices at the end of each month and have 30 days to pay from the date of the invoice.
How do you keep track of your staff's performance?
Senior supervisors will conduct both random and scheduled site visits to ensure that health and safety standards are upheld and that we fully meet the terms of our contract with you.
What type and level of insurance do you hold?
We have complete insurance protection that includes Public Liability coverage of £10 000 000 and Employer’s Liability coverage of £10 000 000. Additionally we are insured for the loss of keys.
Do you have high staff turnover?
We train pay and manage our employees in a way that keeps them with us for a long time.
Do your staff receive training?
Yes. All managers and supervisors undergo thorough training to help them manage their sites according to Everguard’s guidelines and necessary standards. All of our security staff undergo extensive training both in-house and on-site to ensure they can effectively carry out their responsibilities. During their initial training and orientation they also learn about all health and safety matters as well as important company policies.
Will my keys be secure?
Yes The keys will be stored in a fireproof safe located in a secure area. Every set of keys has a secure code assigned to it and is recorded whenever it is taken out of the safe until it comes back. The team checks the keys every week.
What is the contract duration?
Contracts can be negotiated based on the project and the services that are agreed upon. We are confident in our ability to provide great service so we do not require long-term commitments for your reassurance.
Will staff wear uniforms?
Our team will wear uniforms when it is suitable for the type of work we are doing for you.
Will the transition to EverGuard Security go smoothly?
Certainly. With more than 10 years of experience working with new contracts and their integration we carefully plan and communicate with clients to ensure a smooth transition. We will also follow all relevant laws and the TUPE regulations when necessary. The only change you will see is the expected improvement in service and quality.
Can you provide references
After you receive our formal quotation and decide to move forward we will gladly provide you with customer references to assist you in making your final decision.
Is it okay for us to reach out to you outside of office hours in case of an emergency?
yes Your contract will provide you with Everguard’s hotline number. This way we can assist you with any emergencies whenever they occur—24 hours a day every day of the year.
